Product details

The SuperPro GO-KIT2-9 is an aftermarket rebuild kit for the Hayward® Super II pump. It gathers the four soft parts that wear out on a Super II into one pack: the diffuser o-ring or gasket, the pump lid o-ring, the housing o-ring or gasket and the pump shaft seal.

Why replace them together

Getting to the shaft seal means pulling the pump apart, and once it is apart the other three seals are already in your hand. Replacing all four at the same time means the pump goes back together sealed everywhere, instead of returning to a fresh leak at the lid or housing a few weeks later.

Before you order

This kit is for the Super II only. It does not include the impeller or any hard parts, and it is not a Hayward® branded kit.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Does this fit the Hayward® Super Pump?
No. This kit is for the Hayward® Super II. The Super Pump uses different seals and has its own kit.
Is an impeller included?
No. The kit is seals and gaskets only: diffuser gasket, lid o-ring, housing gasket and shaft seal. The impeller is sold separately.
Is this a genuine Hayward® kit?
No, it is a SuperPro aftermarket kit made to fit the Hayward® Super II.
How do I know the shaft seal has failed?
Water dripping from the gap between the motor and the wet end of the pump is the usual sign. Replace the seal promptly, since the leak can reach the motor bearings.
