Product details

The SuperPro O-184-9 is the tank o-ring for the 18 inch tank used on Pentair PacFab Nautilus DE filters manufactured after 2001. It measures approximately 18-1/2 in. inside diameter with a 7/16 in. cross section, and it replaces the original 152127 o-ring.

What it does

A DE filter tank is two halves held together by a band clamp, and the o-ring in that joint is the only thing keeping filtered water inside. When it hardens, flattens or splits, the tank drips under pressure and the clamp gets blamed for it. A new o-ring is the first and cheapest fix.

Cross references

This part is also carried under the numbers 4600-2127 and 90-423-1184, so if the tag on your old ring or an older invoice shows one of those, this is the same seal.

Fit it clean and dry into the groove, seat it evenly all the way round, then bring the clamp up gradually rather than tightening one side first.
