Product details

The SuperPro GO-KIT14-9 is the seal kit for Jacuzzi Magnum series pumps, gathering the shaft seal and the four soft parts that go with it into one order. It is also carried under the substitute part number PSK-JC1.

What is in the box

One pump seal, one case o-ring, one plug o-ring, one strainer o-ring for housings built after 7/89, and one diffuser square ring. That is the full set of seals a Magnum wet end depends on, so a reseal does not stall halfway because one o-ring was missed.

The symptom

Water dripping from the gap between the pump body and the motor is the shaft seal, and that seal is the reason most people open a Magnum. Since the pump has to come apart to reach it, the sensible move is to renew the case, plug and strainer seals in the same session rather than take it apart twice.

Fitment

The kit is listed for the Jacuzzi Magnum, Magnum Plus and Magnum Force pumps. Note the strainer o-ring covers housings made after 7/89, so check the age of yours if it is an early unit.
