Product details
Jandy 1307 is the shaft o-ring for the Neverlube valve, 15/16 inch outside diameter and 3/4 inch inside diameter. It is the genuine Jandy replacement.
What it seals
The valve shaft passes through the top of the valve, and this ring is what stops water tracking up and out around it. When a Jandy valve starts weeping while it is running, the shaft seal is the first place to look, because the ring hardens with age and chemical exposure until it no longer takes a set against the shaft.
Fitting
Measure the ring that comes off against the published sizes so you know you have the right one. A pool rated silicone lubricant on the new ring helps it slide into position without rolling or pinching, which is the usual reason a valve leaks again straight after service.
