Where it fits

Perflex is Hayward's extended-cycle DE filter, designed to give clear water and long cleaning cycles without backwashing. The shaft O-ring is a small rubber seal on the filter, and like any seal it is a wear item that is worth replacing when it is flattened, cracked or leaking.
