The Hayward EC1161LK is the elevated mounting base for Perflex EC40 and EC50 series extended cycle DE filters. It is the genuine Hayward part.

What it changes

A Perflex filter dropped straight onto the equipment pad sits low, and everything on it sits low with it: the drain, the bump handle, the plumbing connections. The elevated base lifts the whole tank to a height where routine work stops being done on your knees, and it keeps the bottom of the tank out of the water that always seems to pool around pad equipment.

Before you order

This is the base only, for an existing Perflex EC40 or EC50 filter. Check your filter model on its label before ordering, since the base is made to match the Perflex tank rather than to fit filters generally.
