The Polaris P19 is the genuine six foot pump hose for the PB4-60 and PB4-60Q booster pumps. It is flexible and reinforced, built to carry booster pump pressure without collapsing.
Where it sits
The booster pump feeds the pressure side cleaner, and this hose is part of that run. Reinforcement matters here in a way it does not on a suction line, because the hose is under positive pressure whenever the booster runs. Plain tubing bulges, kinks and eventually blows off a fitting.
When to replace it
Hoses on the pressure side harden with age, chemistry and sun. The failure is usually gradual: the cleaner slows, coverage gets patchy, and only when the hose is off the pump does the split at the fitting or the collapsed section show itself. If you are chasing a pressure loss on a PB4-60, this is a cheap and common thing to rule out.
