The Balboa 1070021 is a one speed circulation pump for spas and hot tubs. It runs continuously at low flow to keep water moving through the heater and filter, which is what holds the temperature steady and keeps the water clear between soaks.

Specifications

0.25 HP, 230 V, 1.1 A, 60 Hz, on a standard 10-frame, with a 120 in. cord fitted with an AMP plug for the spa pack. It is built by Balboa Water Group.

Replacement

The 1070021 is the current replacement for Balboa 1030056 and 1070056 circulation pumps. Check the horsepower, voltage, amperage, frame size and cord against the label on your existing pump before ordering.

Why the circ pump matters

When a circulation pump fails the heater cannot run safely and filtration stops, so a worn or noisy one is worth replacing before it quits. A working circ pump also takes load off the rest of the system.
