The Aqua-Flo Flo-Master FMCP is a 1 horsepower two speed spa pump on a 48Y frame, with the discharge at the center of the top of the pump in a 1-1/2 inch male buttress thread. It is supplied with quick release compression fittings so it can be taken off the plumbing without cutting pipe.
Two speeds, two jobs
High speed pulls 9.8 amps and drives the jets. Low speed pulls 3.8 amps and handles circulation and filtering. Running the low speed for the long daily filter cycle is what keeps the running cost down, and it is the reason a two speed pump suits a spa better than a single speed of the same rating.
