Product details

The Hayward Super Pump is the standard inground pool pump that a large share of residential pools were built around, and the W3SP2605X7 is the 3/4 HP max rated version, wired for 115 or 230 volts. It fits inground pools and spas of all types and sizes.

Service ease

The strainer cover is see through, so you can tell at a glance when the 110 cubic inch basket needs emptying. A swing away handle releases the cover by hand, with no tools, clamps or loose parts to drop. The housing is corrosion proof, and the heavy duty motor uses airflow ventilation to run cooler and quieter.

Matching your old pump

Match on the rating as well as the horsepower. This is an up rated, or max rated, 3/4 HP pump; if the label on your existing pump says full rated, choose the full rated Super Pump model in the same size. Hayward literature lists this pump as the SP2605X7.

What does UR mean?
Up rated, which Hayward also calls max rated. Hayward labels the Super Pump two ways, up rated and full rated, and the horsepower on the label is not directly comparable between them. Replace a 3/4 HP up rated pump with this one; if your old pump is full rated, match on the full rated model instead.
Is it 115 or 230 volts?
Both. The motor is dual voltage and is wired for 115 or 230 V at installation. Check the motor label for the setting before connecting power.
Is W3SP2605X7 the same as SP2605X7?
Yes, the same pump. The W3 prefix is how Hayward labels this version; its literature and parts lists refer to it as the SP2605X7.
How do I clean the basket?
Look through the clear cover to see when it is full, swing the handle aside to lift the cover, and pull the basket. There are no clamps, tools or loose parts involved.
