Product details

The Pentair SuperFlo VST is a variable speed pool pump built to be simple: a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled motor, a three speed keypad with a real time clock, and power input that adapts to 115V or 230V at 50 or 60 Hz on its own. Model 342002 is the TradeGrade version, intended for professional installation.

Everyday control

Three programmable speeds cover filtration, cleaning and any add-on that needs more flow, with an override for one-off runs. The built in 24-hour clock keeps the schedule without an external timer, and the display shows watt draw so you can see what each speed costs. For pools with automation, RS-485 connectivity lets a controller take over.

Quiet and durable

The TEFC motor is enclosed against weather and runs quietly, and the pump has an improved mechanical seal for long service. Efficiency is rated at WEF 7.3 on 115V and WEF 9.0 on 230V, at 2.2 total horsepower.

Replacing an older pump

The SuperFlo VST is a drop-in replacement for the Hayward Super Pump and for earlier Pentair SuperFlo pumps, and it suits new pools or replacements where up to a 1.5 HP pump is required. As a TradeGrade product it should be installed by a qualified pool professional.

What does TradeGrade mean?
TradeGrade is the Pentair line intended for installation by qualified pool professionals. The pump itself is the SuperFlo VST; the designation reflects how Pentair distributes it, and the buyer should have a professional installer lined up.
