Product details

This is the Waterway 229-8127, a Poly Storm gunite jet internal in gray. It is the thread-in twin roto version with a 5-scallop escutcheon face.

What the internal is

On a gunite pool the jet body is set into the wall when the shell is built and stays there. The internal is the part that threads into that body, and it is what you actually see and what shapes the water leaving the jet. Because it screws in, it can be replaced on its own without disturbing the plumbing behind the wall.

Matching what you have

Waterway builds Poly Storm internals in several nozzle styles, face patterns and colors. This one is twin roto, 5-scallop, gray. If you are replacing one of a set, pull the old internal and match style and color so the whole wall looks and behaves the same.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Does this include the wall fitting?
No. This is the internal, the part that threads into a gunite jet body already set in the wall.
What does thread-in mean?
It screws into the installed fitting rather than snapping or gluing in, so an internal can be changed without touching the plumbing.
What is twin roto?
It is the nozzle style of this Poly Storm internal. Order the same style you pulled out if you want the jet to behave the way it did before.
What color is it?
Gray. Waterway makes Poly Storm internals in more than one color, so check the ones already in your wall before ordering.
