⌄The Waterway 522-5167-6S pairs a ClearWater II 150 sq. ft. cartridge filter with a 1.5 HP Hi-Flo II two speed pump, sold as one system for above ground pools. The pump comes with a 3 ft NEMA cord.
Cartridge filtration
A cartridge filter has no backwash valve and sends no water to waste. When the pressure gauge climbs, the cartridge comes out, gets a rinse with a garden hose and goes back in. 150 square feet of filter area means longer runs between cleanings than a small cartridge.
Two speed pump
The Hi-Flo II runs on low speed for everyday circulation, which is quieter and uses less power, and switches to high for vacuuming, priming or a fast turnover. Because Waterway sizes the pump and filter together, the pair is matched from the start rather than assembled from separate parts.
