Product details

The Pentair Triton II is the original side mount sand filter and still the industry standard. The TR100 is the 30 in. tank, sold here without the valve so you can pair it with the side mount valve your plumbing calls for.

The tank

Pentair molds the Triton II as a one piece, fiberglass reinforced tank with a UV resistant surface finish. The process locks the fiberglass in place, which stops fibers from blooming under harsh conditions and gives the tank years of strength and durability.

Service features

A heavy duty closure opens for inspection and gives instant access to the sand and all internal parts. The easy to read pressure gauge carries an air relief valve, an internal air bleed automatically prevents air pockets, and the combination sand and water drain makes servicing and winterizing fast.

Does it come with the multiport valve?
No. This is the TR100 tank without the valve. A side mount valve is purchased separately.
What does side mount mean?
The multiport valve mounts beside the tank and plumbs into ports on the side, rather than sitting on top. That keeps the top closure free for inspection and sand access.
Why a fiberglass tank?
Pentair molds the Triton II as a single fiberglass reinforced piece with a UV resistant surface, and the process locks the fibers in so they do not bloom in harsh conditions. The result is a tank built for years of strength outdoors.
How do I winterize it?
The combination sand and water drain lets you drain the tank quickly, and the internal air bleed and manual air relief make refilling and restarting straightforward.
