Product details

The Hayward Pro Series 30 in. top-mount sand filter is supplied complete with a 2 in. top mount valve and a hose pack. It carries part number W3S310T2, and the same filter appears in Hayward literature as S310T2.

Why the tank size matters

A 30 in. tank is the largest in the top mount Pro Series range. More media area means the filter traps more dirt before pressure climbs, so backwashes come less often and the pump works against less resistance in between. Undersizing a filter is one of the most common causes of short filter cycles and high energy use on a residential pad.

What is in the box

The filter arrives with the 2 in. top mount valve fitted and a hose pack for the connections. Filter media is not included and is chosen to suit the tank.

Top mount layout

With the valve on top of the tank rather than on the side, the filter takes up less room on the pad and the valve sits at a comfortable height for backwashing and rinsing.
