Product details

The Pentair Sand Dollar SD80 is a 26 in. sand filter for inground pools, supplied with its 1-1/2 in. top mount multiport valve under a single part number, EC-145333. Sand Dollar filters are built around simplicity: sand does the filtering, the multiport valve on top runs filter, backwash and rinse from one handle, and there are no cartridges to pull or grids to clean.

Simple to live with

Cleaning is a backwash cycle at the valve rather than a teardown, and the design is intended for years of reliable service with minimal attention. Its efficient layout keeps the water clean and clear season after season.
