Product details

The Hayward S244SLV is the 24 in. Pro Series high rate sand filter in its side mount configuration, sold as the tank without a multiport valve. It suits a new installation or a tank swap where the side mount valve is being reused or ordered separately.

The Pro Series tank

The tank is blow injection molded from corrosion proof reinforced thermoplastic as a single unitized body, so there is no seam or metal to fail in pool water. It carries the same high rate sand filtration as the rest of the Pro Series line for inground pools.

Before you order

This is the side mount model, and no valve is included. Confirm your plumbing is set up for a side mount multiport valve and add the valve to your order if you do not already have one.

Is the multiport valve included?
No. The S244SLV is the side mount tank only. Order the side mount multiport valve separately.
Is this a top mount or a side mount filter?
Side mount. The valve plumbs to the side of the tank. Hayward also sells a top mount 24 in. Pro Series filter, which is a different model.
What is the tank made of?
Corrosion proof reinforced thermoplastic, blow injection molded as a single unitized tank.
Is it for inground pools?
Yes. The Pro Series 24 in. is an inground high rate sand filter.
