The Pentair FNS Plus FNSP60 is a 60 sq ft vertical grid diatomaceous earth filter for inground pools, sold under Pentair part number EC-180009.

How it filters

Inside the tank a set of grids stands vertically. A coating of DE powder on the grids catches particles far smaller than sand or a cartridge can hold, which is why DE filters are chosen where water clarity matters most. When pressure rises, the filter is backwashed and the grids are recoated with fresh DE.

At 60 sq ft this is one of the larger FNS Plus sizes and suits a residential inground pool with a matching pump. The complete tank ships by freight.
