What it does

The nut threads onto the 1/4 inch-20 clamp hardware and is finished with serrated, knurled edges for grip. It is brass plated stainless steel for use in a wet filter environment.

Fit and compatibility

The 98211400 fits the clamp on Pentair Star Polymeric, Star DE and FNS Plus DE filters, Meteor aboveground pool and spa filters, and Pentair HiFlow 1.5 and 2 inch side mount and top mount clamp-on multiport valves, including the American Products H and M Series 2 inch multiport valve and the 5 and 8 position top mount valves, models 501151, 501181 and 501183.
