Product details

The Pentair 152237 is the 2 in. standpipe and piping assembly with hub for the Tagelus TA60 sand filter. It is the genuine Pentair replacement for the filter's internal piping.

What it does

Inside a sand filter, water passes down through the sand bed, is collected by the laterals at the bottom, and travels back up the standpipe to the valve. If the standpipe or hub cracks, sand gets past it and shows up in the pool. Replacing the assembly is the fix.

Planning the job

The standpipe runs the full height of the tank with the hub at the base, so replacing it means removing the sand. Since the media has to come out anyway, most owners take the opportunity to install fresh sand.

Before you order

This assembly is for the TA60 with 2 in. plumbing. Pentair lists a separate piping assembly with hub for the TA60D, so check the model number on your filter tank.
