Product details

The Pentair 154426 is the upper piping assembly for the TR100 Triton II sand filter. It is the genuine Pentair part, the same assembly the filter left the factory with.

What it does

Water entering a side mount sand filter has to be delivered to the top of the tank and spread across the media bed rather than dumped onto one spot. That is the job of the upper piping. When the assembly cracks or a joint separates, flow short circuits down the tank and filtration quality falls off, often with sand disturbance and a filter that runs clear but never quite gets the water right.

Before you order

Triton II tanks are built in several sizes and the internals are matched to each one. This assembly is the TR100 part, so check the model plate on your filter first. Plan on opening the tank to fit it, which is a good moment to look at the media and the tank o-ring at the same time.
