Product details

The Pentair 271092Z is a kit of two 2 inch threaded bulkhead adapters for Triton II side mount sand filters. It is the genuine Pentair part, supplied as a pair.

Why they are sold two at a time

A side mount filter has bulkhead connections on both the inlet and the outlet side, and the two are the same age and have seen the same water. When one starts to weep, the other is usually not far behind, so replacing them together saves opening the plumbing twice.

Fitment

Pentair lists this adapter across the Triton II side mount sand filter range, from the TR40 through the TR140, and on the commercial TR100C and TR140C. The bulkhead nut and the bulkhead union kit are separate part numbers, so look at what actually came off your filter and order the matching pieces.
