The Pentair 154697 is the genuine tan closure kit for PacFab Triton II sand filters, in the 6 inch size with the V thread. It replaces the top closure on the filter tank.

Pentair supplies closures for these filters in more than one thread form. A V thread closure and a buttress thread closure are not interchangeable and carry different part numbers. Take the old closure off and look at the thread before you order, and confirm the size at the same time, because the Triton II line also uses an 8-1/2 inch closure.
