The Pentair 154538 is the genuine two inch bulkhead gasket used on Triton II sand filters. It is the seal at the bulkhead fitting where the plumbing passes through the tank wall.
Where it goes
The bulkhead fitting is clamped through the tank, and the gasket is what keeps that joint watertight under pump pressure.
