Product details

This is the genuine Pentair flange adapter o-ring, part number 154004, listed as a part for the Triton C-3 side mount sand filter. It is made in rubber.

Where it sits

The flange adapter is the joint between the filter and the plumbing at the side mount valve. The o-ring is the only thing sealing that joint, so when it hardens, flattens or splits, the filter weeps under pressure and the drip shows up on the pad below. Owners often chase the leak around the valve before finding the ring is the cause.

Open the flange, pull the old ring and compare it with what came out. The adapter flange itself and the spacer o-ring that sits on the same assembly are separate parts, and the spacer takes two, so a full reseal may need more than this one ring.
