Product details

The Pentair 178546Z is the replacement tank lid for the Clean & Clear RP cartridge filters in the 150 sq ft and 200 sq ft sizes. It is the genuine Pentair part.

Like the tank it closes, the lid is injection molded polypropylene reinforced with fiberglass, so it does not corrode and it holds its shape under pressure. Sun and years of clamp cycles eventually crack or warp the original, and a lid that no longer seats flat will weep at the clamp no matter how often you change the o-ring.

This is the lid only. The locking ring assembly, tank o-ring and manual air relief valve are separate parts. Check the Clean & Clear RP parts diagram to confirm what else your filter needs.
