The Pentair 178561 is the almond tank lid for the Clean and Clear and Predator cartridge filters in the 75, 150 and 200 sq ft sizes, and for the EasyClean DE inground filter system. It is the genuine Pentair part in the almond color that matches these tanks.

Why lids get replaced

The lid sits in the sun and cycles under pressure every time the pump runs. Over the years that leads to chalking, hairline cracks and eventually a lid that will not hold a seal. A new lid puts the top of the tank back to a clean, tight closure.

Before you order

This is the lid only. The tank o-ring, the locking ring and the air relief valve are separate parts, and it is worth replacing the o-ring at the same time if it is flattened or cracked.
