Pentair Genuine OEM Tank Bottom for 75 Sq Ft Clean and Clear Filter

The Pentair 178554 is the almond tank bottom for Clean and Clear 75 sq ft and Predator 75 sq ft cartridge filters, and for Clean and Clear 75 sq ft filter systems, all manufactured before 2009. It is the genuine Pentair part.

One bottom, two names

The Predator was the American Products cartridge filter that became Pentair's Clean and Clear, and the 75 sq ft tanks from that era share this bottom half.

Before you order

Confirm the tank was built before 2009. The tank body o-ring, the manual air valve kit and the outlet elbow fitting are separate parts; the o-ring in particular should be replaced any time the tank is opened.
