⌄The Pentair 195999 is the genuine bottom tank assembly for the 100 sqft Quad DE cartridge filter and the Clean and Clear Plus pool and spa cartridge filter, in Pentair's standard almond colour.
Why the bottom tank
The lower tank carries the weight of the water and the stress of the drain fitting, so it is the part most likely to crack or seep. When it does, the top tank, clamp and cartridges are usually still sound. Replacing the bottom assembly on its own gets the filter back in service for a fraction of the cost of a new unit.
Fitting
Drain and open the filter, lift out the cartridges and internals, and transfer them to the new bottom tank. Inspect the tank o-ring while it is apart and refit the clamp to Pentair's torque before pressurising.
