Product details

The Pentair 86300500 is the drain cap gasket for Clean & Clear, Clean & Clear Plus and Predator filters and Warrior filter systems manufactured before November 1998, a black rubber gasket 13/16 in. ID by 1-5/8 in. OD by 1/8 in. thick.

What it does

The gasket seals the drain cap against the filter, so water stays in the tank when the cap is tightened. A gasket that has flattened, hardened or cracked lets the drain weep, and replacing it is the simple fix.
