Pentair Clean & Clear RP 100 sq ft Cartridge Pool Filter

The Pentair Clean & Clear RP EC-160354 is a 100 sq ft cartridge filter for inground pools. It arrives with everything needed to plumb it in: the cartridge, a pressure gauge, a union kit and an air relief valve.

Cartridge filtration

A cartridge filter has no multiport valve and is never backwashed. When the pressure gauge climbs above its clean starting reading, you shut the pump down, open the tank, pull the cartridge and rinse it with a hose. That means no backwash line and no pool water sent to waste.

Ready to install

The union kit connects the filter to the pump and return plumbing and lets it come back apart for service without cutting pipe. The air relief valve bleeds trapped air when the system is restarted, and the pressure gauge tells you when the cartridge is due for a clean.
