Product details

The Pentair R171086 is the #330 floating tablet dispenser. It takes 1 in. or 3 in. chlorine or bromine tablets and drifts around the pool feeding sanitizer as the tablets dissolve.

Capacity and control

The dispenser holds up to six 3 in. tablets, or 3 lbs. of 1 in. tablets. An adjustable control ring at the base sets how much of the tablet surface is exposed to the water, which is how you match the feed rate to the pool instead of dumping sanitizer in all at once.

Refilling

The cap is a twist lock, so it opens by hand for access to the tablets. There is nothing to plumb and nothing to install: the dispenser simply goes in the water.
