Product details

The Nature2 W28002 is the DuoClear 45 mineral replacement cartridge, sized for pools up to 45,000 gallons. It is the newer model that replaces the W26002.

Where it goes

The cartridge is used in DuoClear salt water chlorinators and in Nature2 Fusion systems. In both, it sits in the flow and releases minerals that work alongside the chlorine the system produces.

What it does

The mineral pack is a supplement to sanitizer, not a substitute for it. The combination is what keeps the water clear and makes it harder for algae to establish, and it lets the system do that work without extra dosing on your part.

Service

Replacement is a straightforward swap with no plumbing changes. Cartridges are consumed over a season of use, so plan on a fresh one when the minerals are spent.
