Product details

The Zodiac R0595101 is the new style drive pulley coupler for the MX6 Elite and the original MX6 suction cleaners. It is the genuine OEM part and it supersedes the old style pulley, R0595100.

What it does

The pulley connects directly to the engine assembly and works alongside the engine coupler and bearings to drive the cleaner wheels. That wheel movement is what carries the cleaner across the floor and walls so it can pull in dirt and debris. It sits between the middle and lower engine housing, positioned so nothing obstructs its rotation.

When to change it

If the cleaner still draws suction but has stopped tracking properly, the drive train is where to look. The pulley is a wear item, and replacing it with the new style part brings back the same drive the cleaner had when it was new.
