The Hayward HLXPLCONTROL is the replacement controller for the OmniPL pool and spa automation system. It is the genuine Hayward part, intended for a system that is already installed.

What OmniPL does

OmniPL is built on the OmniLogic platform and uses the same app, which lets an owner take on as much or as little of the pool and spa as they want to manage: pumps, heat, lights, features and schedules from a phone rather than from a wall panel.

Controller only

This listing covers the controller, not a full automation package. It is the part to order when the control unit has failed and the rest of the installation, the wiring, relays and enclosure, is still sound.

Cut power at the breaker before opening the panel and follow the Hayward instructions for the swap. If the system is under a service agreement, have your dealer handle the replacement so the configuration is carried across correctly.
