Product details

The Hayward HLIOEXPAND is the I/O expansion board for the OmniLogic base system. It exists for one reason: an OmniLogic that has used up its inputs and outputs and needs more.

What it adds

The board brings four additional valve relays, four additional low voltage relays and four additional temperature sensors to the base system. That is four more actuated valves, four more low voltage switched circuits and four more points of temperature the controller can read.

When it is needed

Pools grow. A spa gets added, a water feature goes in, a heater or a solar loop needs its own valve and its own sensor, and at some point every channel on the base system is claimed. Rather than replacing the controller, this board extends it.

It is the genuine Hayward part, HLIOEXPAND, and is meant to be installed by someone comfortable working inside a live automation enclosure.
