The Intermatic RC2343PT is an air switch with a built in 24 hour digital timer. Air switches let a bather operate equipment from the pool or spa deck without any electrical wiring at the button, which is why they remain the standard way to control jets, blowers and lights from the water.
How it works
A push button on the deck is connected to the switch mechanism by flexible air hose. Pressing the button sends a pulse of air down the hose and steps the switch, and the equipment responds up to 75 feet away. On this model the mechanism also carries a digital 24 hour timer with multiple daily programs, so a filter pump can run its own schedule while the manual functions stay available.
