Hayward Sense and Dispense pH Dispense, 120V Solenoid Valve for CO2

The Hayward AQL-CHEM2 is the pH Dispense kit for Sense and Dispense, a 120 V solenoid valve that releases CO2 into the pool water to bring pH down. It is the dispensing half of Hayward's automated pH control.

How it fits in

Sense and Dispense reads pH through its sensing kit, and when the reading climbs above the set point the automation energizes this solenoid. CO2 goes in, pH comes down, the valve closes. The homeowner never handles acid and the pad never stores it.

Before you order

This is the 120 V version. Hayward makes the same solenoid in 240 V, so match the voltage to your equipment. You also need the Sense and Dispense ORP and pH sensing kit for the automation to have a pH reading to act on. If you prefer to feed acid rather than CO2, Hayward's 120 V acid feeder kit is the alternative.
