Product details

The Intermatic PJB4175 is a polymeric junction box that brings up to four low voltage pool or spa light connections together in one watertight enclosure. It is built for outdoor use at the pool, on pool and spa combinations and on landscape lighting runs.

How it is built

The body accepts flexible cords and non-metallic conduits from 1/2 in. through 1 in., so it takes standard light cord entries without adapters. The ground bar sits where you can reach it, which makes bonding the fixtures a straightforward job rather than a fight inside a crowded box.

Code and placement

The box complies with NEC Code 680.24, the section that governs junction boxes serving pool and spa lighting. It is rated for outdoor use only. The PA114 wall and post mounting bracket, which sets the box at height on a wall or post, is a separate item.
