Hayward Lens Gasket for Astrolite Pool Light

The Hayward SPX0580Z2 is the lens gasket for the Astrolite pool light. It is the genuine Hayward part, molded with the number SP-580-Z2, and it is the seal between the lens and the fixture that keeps water out of the light.

Dimensions

Outside diameter 7-7/16 in., inside diameter 6-5/8 in. The bottom lip measures 6-7/8 in. inside diameter and the top lip is 9/16 in. thick at the outside edge. Match these to your old gasket, or check for SP-580-Z2 molded into it.

When to replace it

Fit a new gasket any time the lens comes off, whether for a lamp change or a repair. An old gasket that has taken a set will not seal again, and a leaking fixture is how water reaches the lamp and the wiring. Fits the Astrolite SP0580 and SP0590 series lights.
