The Halco 26040 is a silicone lens gasket made for Sta-Rite SwimQuip Series 0508 pool light housings, also listed as part number LPL-G-S.

What it does

A lens gasket seals the lens against the light housing to keep water out. Standard gaskets are only built to last the roughly 2,500 hour life of an incandescent bulb, while this silicone gasket is designed to hold up through the 50,000 hour life of an LED lamp, and it works with either LED or incandescent lamps. Silicone also resists pool chemicals and outdoor weather better than the rubber compounds used in many standard gaskets, so the seal stays flexible and watertight for longer between lamp changes.

The 26040 fits Sta-Rite SwimQuip housing models with the 05086 and 05082 prefix, and it is also listed as part number LPL-G-S, so either number identifies the same gasket.
