Product details

The J&J Electronics LPL-G-P is the ColorSplash silicone gasket for pool light fixtures, measuring 8-1/2" X 1/2". It fits Pentair Amerlite and 784 Series housings and works with any LED or incandescent lamp fitted to them.

Why silicone matters here

The gasket sits between the lens and the housing, clamped down and sitting in hot, chlorinated water for years at a time. Rubber hardens and cracks in that environment. Silicone holds its flexibility much longer, which is what keeps the seal live through the heat cycles of a lamp turning on and off.

Replace it with the lamp

Whenever a fixture is opened, the gasket has already taken a permanent set from being compressed. Reusing it is the most common reason a freshly relamped light floods. Fitting a new gasket at the same time is the cheap insurance on a much more expensive lamp.
