The Hayward SPX0506D is the light gasket for the SP0607 niche, with a 12.25 inch outside diameter. It is the genuine Hayward part.

What it seals

The gasket sits between the light fixture and the face of the wall niche. It is a small piece of a large job: it is what keeps the joint clean and even when the fixture is drawn up against the niche.
