Product details

The Pentair 590135 is the eyeball assembly kit for the ColorVision LED Light Bubbler, the piece that sets where the water goes.

What it controls

A bubbler is a light shining up through a column of moving water, so the water and the effect are the same thing. The eyeball aims that column. Adjust it and you change the height and spread of the plume and, with it, how the color reads from the deck. Set it wrong and the bubbler throws water across the coping instead of straight up.

Why it wears out

The eyeball is a moving part sitting in treated water all season. Scale builds in the joint, the plastic gets brittle, and eventually the eyeball seizes or cracks and will not hold its aim. Replacing the assembly restores the adjustment.

This kit is the eyeball only. The lens, diffuser, color rings and lock ring for the ColorVision bubbler are ordered separately.

What does the eyeball assembly do?

It directs the water leaving the bubbler. Aiming it changes the height and shape of the plume, and because the light shines up through that water, it changes how the effect looks at night.

Will it fit any bubbler?

It is the Pentair kit for the ColorVision LED Light Bubbler. Do not assume it fits another manufacturer bubbler or another Pentair water feature.

Is the light included?

No. This is the eyeball assembly kit only. The lens, diffuser, color rings and lock ring for the ColorVision bubbler are separate Pentair parts.

Why replace the eyeball?

Because it is the part that moves and the part that scale and chemistry attack first. A cracked or seized eyeball cannot be aimed, and the bubbler ends up throwing water where you do not want it.
