Product details

Pentair 619617Z is the replacement housing spacer for AquaLumin pool and spa lights. Pentair lists it for the AquaLumin III, and it appears more generally as the AquaLumin housing spacer.

What it does

The spacer sets the fixture in the right position inside its housing. It is a small piece of hardware, but if it is missing, cracked or has been left out of a previous repair, the light sits where it was not meant to and the assembly does not close up correctly.

When to fit one

Any time the light is out of the niche is the right time. Lamp changes, gasket changes and lens work all put the fixture on the deck already, and a fresh spacer is inexpensive against the labor of pulling the light again. If you are not certain which AquaLumin generation you have, check the markings on the fixture before ordering.
