The CMP 25503-509-400 is the dry conduit wall fitting for a 1.5 inch LED light in a gunite pool.

Matching the shell

CMP builds this fitting in three versions, one for gunite, one for vinyl and one for fiberglass. They are not interchangeable, and picking by picture rather than by pool construction is the usual way an order goes wrong. This part number is the gunite one.

Dry conduit

The fitting is designed around a dry conduit run to the light, which keeps pool water out of the conduit path. It sets into the wall as part of the shell, so it belongs in the plan at build or remodel time rather than as a later addition.

No. This is the gunite version. CMP lists a separate vinyl pool dry conduit wall fitting and a separate fiberglass nicheless version.
