Product details
The Pentair 79101600Z is the gasket for the 8-3/8 in light lens, used on Amerlite and Spectrum Amerlite (SAm) pool lights. It is the genuine Pentair American part.
What it does
The gasket sits between the lens and the light housing and is the only thing holding water out of the fixture. Everything inside the light depends on that one seal being sound.
Fit a new one every time
A gasket that has been clamped down takes a permanent set, so it will not seal the same way twice. Reusing the old one after a bulb change is the most common reason a fixture floods, and a new gasket costs a fraction of the light it protects.
