The Pentair 79111600 is the stainless steel face ring assembly for the SpaBrite spa light. It is the genuine Pentair part.
What the face ring does
The face ring is the trim that sits at the spa wall and clamps the face of the light in place. It is the only part of the fixture in constant contact with treated water on one side and view on the other, which is why it is usually the first component to look tired. Staining, pitting and corrosion show up here well before the lamp or the niche needs anything.
