Product details

The SuperPro O-344-9 is a 4 in. lens gasket for American Products and Pentair Spabrite and Aqualight fixtures. It is listed as an alternative for part numbers 79108500 and 79108600.

What it does

The gasket sits between the lens and the light housing and is the seal that keeps pool water away from the lamp, the socket and the cord. It is a small part carrying the entire watertight integrity of the fixture.

Change it every time you open the light

Once a gasket has been clamped down it takes a permanent set, and the compound hardens with age and heat. Refitting an old gasket is the single most common reason a light floods shortly after a bulb change. Fit a new one whenever the lens comes off, seat it cleanly in the groove, and tighten the lens ring evenly.

Check the size first

This is the 4 in. diameter gasket for the smaller Spabrite and Aqualight fixtures. Full size pool lights take a larger gasket, so measure before you order.
