Product details

The Pentair 620400Z is the 8-3/8 inch silicone gasket for IntelliBrite 5G color LED pool lights. It is the genuine Pentair seal for that fixture.

The part that keeps water out

Pentair pool lights sit in stainless niches with brass fittings, and the only thing between the pool and the inside of the fixture is this gasket. Silicone stays flexible under the heat of a lamp for longer than a hardened rubber ring will, which is why the factory specifies it. When it stiffens, flattens or splits, water finds its way in.

When to fit one

Whenever the fixture is opened. If you are changing a lens or an LED engine, replacing the gasket at the same time costs very little next to the cost of a flooded light.

What does this gasket do?
